Join us for the 2024 Appleton Christmas Parade on Tuesday, November 26! All current and prospective club members are welcome; only approved members may bring your dogs. We can always use dogless people to carry the banner, walk extra dogs, and just be part of the group and wave to the crowd. Only 6-foot or shorter leashes are allowed. Dress up yourselves and your dogs in Christmas gear, battery-operated lights, etc. (do not dress as Santa or Mrs. Santa; Santa hats are fine)! Bring your volunteer hours sheet and Amy will sign it for your 3 earned hours. Our unit number is 27, and we will be lining up on State Street south of College Avenue, between Seventh and Eighth Streets. See staging map below. Bring your own poop bags and be sure to dress warm!
Parade starts at 7 pm; please arrive at our staging point by 6:30. (No vehicle drop-offs are allowed in the staging area; you’ll have to walk in.) See you there!
If you are available to take photos at the parade, please contact Amy Schneider at [email protected].
The Downtown Appleton Christmas Parade annually draws 80,000 spectators to Downtown Appleton. Additionally, a television audience of over 100,000 view the parade live and during rebroadcasts on CBS 5, WFRV-TV. The parade can also be streamed live at WeAreGreenBay.com.
